Kate Tallerday

Biography

Kate Tallerday is Director of the Telluride Institute's Watershed Education Project. She coordinates all of the WEP educational units, field trips, summer camps, and internships with watershed educators, district teachers, and specialists. She also develops curricula, teaches courses, and assists with grant writing, fundraising, and strategic planning for WEP. Kate has a strong background in the environmental field. She assisted the Nairamdal International Children's Center in Mongolia to develop an environmental education program while serving in the Peace Corps. Kate is certified to train teachers how to teach the Project Learning Tree Environmental Education Curriculum, and has a degree in business and marketing. Kate currently serves as a member of the Town of Telluride Open Space Commission.
