Alessandra Jacobson Biography Alessandra Jacobson is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder's Physical Geography and Sociology departments, moved to Telluride in 1997 to research the region's alpine wetlands, and has never left. She has worked in the Telluride Ski Area's environmental department monitoring wetlands restoration efforts. Since becoming a mother, she has remained active in short-term environmental endeavors with various public and private entities. Presently, her efforts are concentrated on establishing the Bridal Veil Living Classroom, an intensive branch of the Telluride Institute's Watershed Education Project. Contact
