The center of Art's world is Cloud Acre, a piece of ground on the outskirts of Norwood he characterizes as his "little reinhabitory homestead (former commissioner and rancher Raymond Snyder lived here when he was just married) -- which is in the irrigated wetlands of the headwaters of Maverick Draw, looking south to Lone Cone."
